Right. Lease renewal does not require re-auth. No since annoying folks
with nuisance re-auths.
I don't have a strong opinion on how long to have authentications last.
Occasional table cleanup is probably wise. Daily sounds fine to me.
It can be set up to check each flow periodically and place apparently
unused rules in a queue that, in turn, flush those rules. The caveat is
that getting carried away with this can lead to a lot of unnecessary work.
