The D-link DGS-1005D which I picked up on my way from work to home,
claims to do 9K packets on the box. Will test VLAN transparency
later this week (scouting meeting tonight) but I have not met
an unmanaged switch that doesn't pass VLAN tags.

Advantage over a Fry's run is that the power plug matches.
