Geert,

You probably know this, but the iPad (and the new iPhone 4) use the micro sims. Now, you can carefully cut a full-sized sim down to fit, but it would probably be more popular to be able to get a micro...

I'm sort-of offline till sunday, dealing with electrical power and safety
at http://rodeo.scouting.nl (Dutch only, sorry, but you'll
get the gist)

What you want is "prepay" (this is easy), with "data" (which is
what I need to research). The telco's use data to guide people
to a subscription rather than a prepay card, so this isn't easy.

In general, there are 3 mobile telco's:
- KPN mobile: incumbent telco, good coverage.
Other brand names: Telfort, Hi
- Vodaphone: KPN's big competitor, good coverage
- T-mobile: 3rd operator. They have coverage issues, and more important,
severe 3G capacity problems, up to the point where they re-imburse
UMTS customers at this time. I'm a T-mobile customer and unfortunately
can confirm these problems.

What's the data volume (roughly) you're planning to burn?

Let me get back to you on this next week, OK?
