[ietf79-tech] the printer that ate chicago

the secretariat folk ordered a wireless printer with tech support from
the hotel.  what they received was neither.

they received a refigerator sized rikoh that has ethernet and, of
course, speaks mandarin and maybe cantonese.  it is now in the
secretariat's office, not on net.

they will not have access to the registration space until sunday, but
despreately need to print saturday, tomorrow, morning.

the tentative plan:

  o at 08:30, it will move to the terminal room where it can hang on
    ether

  o the hotel will have tech support there then to set its ip address as
    we specify

  o stephanie can then use the ietf-hotel ssid and print to it

  o somehow, we will plug it's ether into some wireless unit so it can
    be wireless, or we will make an ether drop at reg desk into which
    it can be plugged sunday

i strongly beg and encourage a simpler plan that meet's stephanie's
needs
