_______________

Backup link is up/up.
Still need to configure IP.

Primary link is delayed. Leon will push the provider to get this link
operational.

Two Junipers and core switch are in IT room in hotel.

It's confirmed that we will only have access to the NOC and terminal rooms,
as well as back-of-the-house areas, before Saturday November 6th. So we will
be able to install all of the network infrastructure before Saturday, but
most of the wireless deployment w
ill have to be done on Saturday.

One of the things that I think we've not done as well in past meetings as we
could is testing the network once deployed. Deploying
Saturday will once again give us less time for network testing than is
desired. We need to schedule testing into the plan this ti
me--and dedicate some number of people to testing, even if there are issues
that others are working on.

The existing 2G VM servers were too small, so Leon's team bought two new 8G
servers.
There is one 3000KVA UPS unit, should be enough for the production servers.
May not have enough UPS capacity for test/development
VM machines. Leon may be able to bring the smaller servers so we can have
test/development VM's if we are willing to not have them
on UPS. Sounds OK to me, although, my Macbook Pro, with 4G memory may make
a better VM host...

Portal issue is resolved.

Routing--announcing 130.129, still working on AS 290. Leon expects to have
this resolved over the next two days.

I cannot ping 130.129.5.6 right now, but a traceroute shows I'm getting very
close. Leon will look into what's blocking me.

Jim Martin has an updated list of conference rooms from Marcia that he will
send out tomorrow.

Warren will bring some LAN/wireless test gear to supplement the gear Leon's
team has.

Leon will send contact information for himself and a couple of others on his
team.

I am working on extracting the contact page from the Wiki and making it
accessible.

Jim and I arrive Monday afternoon. Bill Jensen and Bill Fenner will arrive
Tuesday.
