Folks,
Ok, here's what I know about Quebec City. Sorry it's taken me so long to get things out to everyone! If any of this is wrong, please sing out!

Contractor
--------------
VeriLAN is doing this one, with the volunteers assisting. Noah is in charge, and Nick has done the site visit. Not sure who will be there beyond Noah and Nick.

Volunteers
---------------
In addition to our usual crew, it looks like Morgan will join us. Also, as our local "Canadian Ambassador", Marc Blanchet of Viaganie is helping out. Thanks to them both (and everyone else of course!)

External
-----------
We've got two providers, Telus and Bell.CA. The Telus link will present as two physical copper interfaces from their local handoff switch, one for IPv4 and one for IPv6. The v4 one is a full gig, with the v6 one being 100M. The Bell link is a single simple gig link. We'll be using the new IETF AS of 56554.

The Bell link is in, but we need to get a router to Marc to help them test. More on this below

	* We need to arrange routers. Jim to send Lenny a note requesting a pair of M7is or MXs or something.

Addressing
---------------
For this meeting, we'll use the usual 130.129/16 and 2001:df8::/32. I'm guessing we'll do the usual vlans/subnetting, but I'll let Noah chime in on that.

While we're in Quebec, I'd like to talk about the new address space we have, and come up with a plan on how to lay it out. Perhaps we can use it in Taipei.

Equipment
---------------
We're sending the usual IETF kit. I believe it's scheduled to ship relatively soon. Noah/Nick, could you send the list whatever details you have?

There's an open issue of a router for testing. Noah has a spare of mine, but shipping to Canada has become problematic. We probably need to come up with an alternate plan.

Hotel
-------
The headquarters hotel is the Hilton. It looks like their preference is to leave their gateway in place, dumbing it down entirely. Nick, you were there, can you please let us know your best understanding of the situation?

Schedule
-------------
I'm personally planning on coming in on July 19th and heading back on the 30th. It would be great if other volunteers made it in on the 19th or 20th, but whatever your plans, please make sure Marcia knows if she's arranging hotel for you (Note: I'll send out a "who needs what" email shortly)

tech-call
------------
I'll send out a doodle poll shortly to schedule a call. Since we've got people in Asia, NA and Europe on this one, we're likely to be uncomfortable for someone. Sorry!

Ok, that's my quick brain dump. Questions? Just fire away!

	- Jim
