Hi,

I did some scribblings of mostly Jim giving the bird eye status
overview.  Pick the bits the only non native speaker got right
or send clarifications to the list - I sometimes have no idea what
your are bubbling about;-)

Attending: bz, jim, chelliot, (karen), Nick, Rick, Tony Tauber

- NACI (N. Americ. Cable Industry) hosted
   -> Comcast Circuits
- Atlanta Hilton
- old contract not as firm as in what we can do on the net; ongoing talk
- PSAV(?)
   - Had a good conversation with them Thu
   - meeting space: PSAV; reasonable wifi/controller setup -> backed
     out to what we want
   - caveats:
     - up to 9 IDFs, 7 of 9 copper only, 1 run from MDF
     - we do not own the whole space
   - VLAN for guest rooms and one fortheir guests
   - we take wifi over per (our) floor
- guest / public space may be AT&T, uncertainty still
   - tech contact Hilton Atlanta

- Jim and Nick to do a site visit Mon/Tue 60%tech/40%convincing them;)

outside-in:

Tony explains IETF-WAN-..jpg mailed to the list
   - 3 paris but 2 used
   - share same last mile into hotel
   - 2 routers different ASNs
Jim?
   - 1 all dark to 56 Mar   LX(?)
   - 76  2nd from switch  SX prefered
 	- untagged, see as GE, sub-GE bw

   * TODO:  dropp off location on Monday

- Clarification on "Demo" for bits & bytes ; L2 drop off for demo
 	-> either physically if Hotel infrastructure allows, VLAN
 	   otherwise
- 1.8Gbit/s total external bw

Jim on addressing:
   - announce both old (Interop) and our (RIPE) spce for v4+v6
   - TODO: send ACL information to Tony

- circuit delivery date:
 	- Oct last week
 	- Jim asks by 29th as people will be on-site
 	- agreement to plan for BGP on 30/31 Oct

Internally:
 	- chelliot says "no changes planned on architecture"

TODO:
    - MUST think about kit replacement?  What would we like.

- Nick on current kit

- Gear shipping?
 	- Junipers go to Verilan
 		- TODO: Jim to start process
 	- Rick says shipping on 21 Oct

- bits & bytes growing => trade show
 	- allocate resources
 	- requires additional large room on multi-yera old contract
 	-> squeeze b&b in; keep your eyes open that we can deliver to
 	   where they want to put it

Celliot:
 	- Interop for someone (I see the NETCONF email to the list)
 	- Same "SLA" as Codesprint for Saturday


Jim:
 	- Servers?  As Warren or spec gear?
 	- Jim to talk to Bob Hinden after concall
 	- agrrement to talk to Warren for next meetings first
 	- tell Bob otherwise could be an issue

Jim?	Anything else to check in Atlanta?
 	- Chelliot: wifi specturm
 	- Nick: Verilan has scanner now

- Continue concall weekly till meeting even if only a 5min thing
