Unless I'm totally off, it was 15 years ago in November 1998 that the very first Scotch BOF was held in Orlando, hosted by Perry Metzger on an off-the-beaten-path patio. It was a nice warm evening for drinking a wee bit. It seemed to me to always be a nice way to finish off a long IETF week, sliding into Friday.
