[IPv6Scotch] finding a home for future BoFs

Even RIPE¹s Whiskey BoF is an unofficial function. If it¹s an official
function, and someone gets drunk and does something stupid, the
organization is liable (at least in my country).

I wonder about Bar BoFs held in IETF space, though. Bar BoFs derive from
holding them in bars, and there was no organizational sanction. There¹s a
risk scale:
* Providing a meeting space and allowing people to bring a beer
* Providing a space knowing the sponsors of the BoF will provide drinks
* Providing space knowing participants will bring a lot of liquor
* Running an event and providing a cash bar
* Running an event and providing an open bar

I will also say that I love the IPv6 Scotch BoF, where I have the best
conversations of the week. I¹ve taken it upon myself to ask Ray and Tobias
about rooms at future hotels.

I also note that the Yokohama hotel has not been announced, but the
InterContinental is less than a block from the venue, and has suites for
76,000yen (about 615USD). Do you think there would be donations enough to
cover the cost?
