Is this a new request? I did not know there were any meetings over the
following weekend.

The networking gear is shipping separately from the secretariat's gear.
However, I've already arranged for the shipping company to pick up all the
networking gear Saturday morning as I believed that there was nothing going
on after the IETF meeting ended Friday afternoon. This could be changed, in
all probability, but may have an additional cost.

Keeping our infrastructure up, even for one meeting, would involve a serious
amount of kit, not to mention that a couple of people would have to stick
around to break it all down and get it ready for shipment. I don't know if
there are people willing to stick around...

In my opinion, this meeting will have to take what they can get. I know that
the MECC has Internet connectivity, including wireless. They may have to pay
for the service.
