All,
I'm Chris Elliott (chelliot at pobox.com) and I've been involved in IETF
networks for over 10 years. I've been doing networking since 1975 and
my beard is older than most of the people I work with. :-)
I've worked for Cisco Systems (13 years), SAS Institute (9 years), US
EPA (7 years), and a variety of beltway bandits (as Washington, DC
consulting companies are affectionately known).
My primary area of expertise is Network Management and I am an author
of "Performance and Fault Management", CiscoPress, 2000, as well as
several IETF RFC's and drafts.
I primarily work with wireless and switching on IETF networks. I think
I know as much about deploying wireless networks in the dense and high-
utilization environment of IETF networks as anyone.
I hold CCIE certificate # 2013 in routing and switching, which I need
to recertify before Maastricht.
