anyone is welcome to reply to any emails.  this is the internet, after
all, where no one know if you are a dog, but everyone knows if you are
an ass.

the volunteers preempting ::1 is just not appropriate.  period.  i would
not belabor it, except i worry about a trend.

and i know what time it is here in eastern asia.  backward as we are, we
do have clocks.
