Correct.

Sort of. I think, technically, the people to thank are Francis Dupont
and Alain Durand, who explained to me late on the Thursday of the
Orlando meeting that they had purchased a considerable amount of
single malt in a duty free shop and that it was absolutely critical
for the future of the internet that we consume the balance of it next
to the pool as soon as possible. Francis and Alain were at least
2/3rds of the force behind the first several IPv6 Scotch events.

Well, it started as a celebration by a group who were all participants
in the IPng working group, though as I recall we only got to the
middle of the "drafts" somewhere around 3am or later, so it was
considerably after the actual working group meeting.
