[IPv6Scotch] finding a home for future BoFs

I'd like to make a suggestion. Could someone ask Ray (or whoever else handles the IETF's hotel contracts) to make provision for a suitable room at future meetings as part of those negotiations? Hotels can usually be persuaded to make a room available for things like a quiet whisky tasting evening whenever an event organiser is in the market for a hotel that can provide lots of meeting space and thousands of room-nights to accommodate hundreds of hungry and thirsty attendees. YMMV.

This is how the Scotch BoFs at RIPE meetings have been handled for years. The lovely RIPE NCC meeting staff just decided all by themselves to make this happen and I'm very grateful that they did. There's even more NCC support for the RIPE BoF and that's a story for another time. Some people on this list already know about that. Details available on request. :-)
